Beaufort is coming into this game with a record of 12-1. The Eagles are Avg. 33 points a game and are giving up 14 points a game. Beaufort is coming off a Big 30-21 win over previously undefeated Dillon in the 3A Lower State Title Game.

Powdersville is coming into this game with a record of 13-1. The Patriots are Avg. 45 points a game and giving up 22 points a game. Powdersville is coming off a 27-14 win over previously undefeated Clinton High School in the 3A Upperstate Title Game.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the 2 schools. This is for all the marbles!!!! The winner will be crowned 2022 3A State Football Champions. This game is shaping up to be a really good game!!!! I am so excited!!!!

Kickoff for this game will be at 7:00 PM this Thursday Night at Benedict College in Columbia. I look for a Huge Crowd at this game!!!!

Doodles has Powdersville favored by 5 over Beaufort. Massey has Beaufort favored by 6 over Powdersville. What do y'all think? Will Beaufort win???? Will Powdersville win???? Let's hear your thoughts and predictions on this Huge 3A State Title Game!!!! I will give mine later on in the week. .

The Doodle machine is broken. Been that way all year with regards to Beaufort. I suppose that losing to a Class 5A State finalist makes you only the 5th best team in 3A. We bout to find out.

This one should be interesting. Beaufort and Powdersville went through some tough competition to get to this point and it could definitely go either way.

The way to beat Powdersville is to make their QB throw it. The RB doesn’t like contact and if you keep him between the tackles he can be slowed down. We had done a good job containing him but he had 2 big plays that were back breaking. He’s a great player and great players always find ways to make plays so just do what you can to keep him frustrated. The QB is not a great thrower and the receivers don’t do well against good coverage and the OL can’t hold up well in pass pro unless it’s a quick pass. QB can run very well and he’s slippery so if Beaufort can stop the run they’re in a good spot.

I might go watch this one, I’ll definitely be on the Eagles side if I do attend. I’d rather a low country school win than the team that put us out. Despite my negativity towards South Easley they would be deserving champs if they do win. I’d just prefer they don’t.

Spot on…every week it’s that 21 I see on the highlights..looks the part 3A 5A Saturday afternoons.
