Jachin Davis at Stratford is the best QB in the state. Already committed to Liberty.

Is Davis better than Manavian at Oceanside or Gilmore at Gaffney? Davis stunk it up against a less than stellar Cane Bay team. Not sure if Offing at DF is the "best", but he passed for almost 3000 yards completing 67% of his passes, 24 TDs only 4 INTs, a QB
rating of 122.0 and rushed for 8 TDs...against the toughest schedule in the state- along with the 5A D1 title. There are probably more than just DF fans putting Offing at the top of their QB list.... along with Manavian and Gilmore.

Davis looks good but looking good against Colleton County and Wando, is not quite the same as looking good against White Knoll, River Bluff, Spartanburg, and Summerville. I'm a DF homer, so my glasses may be rose colored when it comes to Offing.

If this kid had the weapons that these other schools had around him he would be ACC SEC type kid. You put him on that Summerville team last year and I think Summerville wins it all no question.

Stratford always has talent...coaching is the difference typically. You don't throw 3 INTs in a game against ...Cane Bay... if you are "the best", regardless of what you have around you for talent. Manavian against DF did not have a good game at all, but one play he made was about decision making under pressure- screen play that the DF defender had covered and instead of trying to force it, he threw it into the dirt and took the incompletion and loss of down versus a turnover on their side of the 50. Saw the highlight film on Davis... we must be watching two different players. I will defer to your judgement...

There are some really good QBs returning (although I think the QB at Daniel went to Rabun Gap for the coming season),- I like the returning QB at Gaffney and at Oceanside, but you would be hard pressed to find a team with better depth at QB than DF.... Ethan Offing starting and Jaxon Knotts playing a lot as back up. Both are gun slingers.

Fear The Fox...
DF isn't Offing committed to play baseball at Clemson? If so, is he sticking to baseball or exploring his football options, if any?

I love these topics. I will say I was impressed with Summerville’s backup QB in the championship game. His name slips my mind.

The offers speak for themselves. You might not trust my judgment but the colleges that have seen this kid obviously see something you don’t as well or he wouldn’t be going to a tier group of 5 school.

Keep an eye on the Spartanburg QB Burke, he might not have the stats but I think he is gonna have a huge season.

…They do speak for themselves… Jerry Falwell sees something others don’t I guess.

I like him also. I can see him having a bigger year with teams loading up to try to contain the outstanding RB.
